In our previous post, you have already learned how important assembly instructions are in order to have an easy time assembling your bunk bed. Today, we are going to talk about the skills that you need for following those instructions.
It would have been nice if those instructions only required you to be literate enough to read and follow the instructions, but unfortunately assembling a bunk bed requires more from you than that. You should also be able to wield a hammer and screwdriver competently enough because there are typically lots of nails, bolts, and screws to secure in place when assembling bunk beds. You also need to be fairly familiar with technical terms used in construction, building, or carpentry as you will see them used often enough in assembly instruction sheets for bunk beds.
Lastly, you will need oodles of patience and a considerable amount of free time. If you are lucky, a bunk bed can be assembled in an hour or two. If you are not, it can take half to the entire day at the most.
